I approach every wedding day as if I’m hanging out with my family and friends joining in on all the fun and all that’s wonderful on your wedding day. Your wedding day is a personal and unique expression, and I want to be the friend who has the honor of capturing the story of the day as it unfolds around you.
By immersing myself into the wedding day rather than seeing myself as just someone you hired to capture the day, I’m able to connect with you and your guests. To the point where no one is worrying about constantly smiling at the camera or feeling like they need to be doing something. Throughout the day we'll compose photographs in the moment, naturally. Painting a unique vision of your wedding day in real time.
On the wedding day I am fully present and immerse myself into every detail. Not just a fly on the wall capturing the life of your day, but taking charge during family formals and guiding you through your couples photos.

I have three home bases now, San Diego, The Central Coast, aka San Luis Obispo County and Japan. I'm available for travel world wide. All travel fees are flat rate or included in your custom price.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Most everyone thinks they are awkward in front of the camera, and I promise you, you are not. Plus, I got you when it comes to direction and guidance. When it comes to couples/engagement/family sessions, I will help ease everyone into the process. I want you to feel normal and just like every other day. We are just hanging out, enjoying ourselves, and one person, being me, has a camera guiding you into some amazing moments.
For weddings, most of the day will be captured candidly and just as it is. I never want anyone to feel like they have to be posing, smiling, or doing anything for the camera. Family formal photos are 100% guided, and your couples' photos will be very similar to your engagement session. Natural poses to play off the candid nature of the day.
