I photograph weddings using both film and digital, choosing the right medium for the light, the pace, and the feeling of each moment. Film is never used simply for the sake of it.
Medium format is especially beautiful for slower, more intentional moments, including portraits, meaningful details, and scenes that deserve a little more stillness. I reach for 35mm when the energy is moving quickly and I want to preserve the spontaneity, texture, and imperfect beauty of the moment. Digital allows me to respond instantly during fast transitions, changing light, and the parts of the day that cannot be repeated. Together, they create a gallery that feels cohesive, honest, and full of depth.

I focus on the natural flow of the day, reading body language, emotions, and interactions to capture moments as they happen. I move with intention, staying present but unobtrusive, always looking for the in-between moments, the nervous hand squeeze before the ceremony, the way your parents look at you when you're not watching, the laughter between friends when they think no one's paying attention.
I use light, composition, and movement to create images that feel immersive and real, so when you look back at your gallery, it feels like stepping right back into those moments. My goal is for you to fully experience your wedding day without worrying about the camera, trusting that every meaningful detail is being documented as it unfolds naturally.

The turnaround time for your sneak peeks is 1 week and your completed, polished photo gallery is normally 6 to 8 weeks. I value quality above all else, so I make sure to take my time perfecting every gallery before sending it out. Please keep in mind that sometimes creating photos that meet these standards means the timeline can run a little past that.

Always and forever YES! I'm based in California, but I'd be more than happy to travel to any location you need me to. All weddings within the mainland United States have travel included in the package you choose. US states and territories outside the mainland receive a custom quote. All international weddings receive a custom quote. If you're getting married in one of my bucket list locations, Montana, Alaska, Greece, Peru, Portugal, Bali, Japan, Italy, or New Orleans, travel fees may be waived altogether.
