Minimalist Wedding at San Diego Botanic Garden | Ashley & Morgan

If you need inspiration for your San Diego Botanic Garden wedding you are in the right spot.  A garden is a perfect place to get married and most are beautiful as they are. Our bride, Ashley, chose to keep things simple and only accent the natural beauty of the garden’s surroundings. Together they chose fresh floral arrangements, a white blooming bouquet with eucalyptus accents, and eucalyptus at the center of each table. It’s ethereal, dreamy and so so simple.

Ashley was a bride who just wanted to bring their loved ones together for a day. They danced, laughed, ate street tacos, and just enjoyed each other’s company.  Together they decided they didn’t want to take time away from the fun, so we had a very organic, no-fuss couple session and candids only for family formals, they just wanted to jump right back into the fun and get dancing.  Did I mention the epic karaoke after-party? Trust me…scroll to the end!

San Diego Botanic Garden

The San Diego Botanic Garden is 37 beautiful acres in the midst of Encinitas.  It is home to plants from all over the world.  Nearly 5,000 different species reside there! Most importantly, giving the sensation you are strolling through a tropical rainforest, to then hiking in the desert. Four miles of trails wind through 29 uniquely themed gardens.  You have multiple options when it comes to choosing the reception, ceremony, and cocktail space.  The best part! The entire grounds can be used for the most incredible bride/groom portraits. The Victorian Gazebo Lawn, The Walled Garden, The Lawn House Garden, and The Waterfall View Deck, all ranging in size for different party sizes.

In short, the garden has the perfect makings for a gorgeous medium/small wedding or an intimate elopement.  In addition, it should be your number one choice for a botanic garden wedding in San Diego.
