When you get married to your high school sweetheart, at your spot and your little boy walks down the aisle after asking for years when mommy and daddy are going to get married…things get pretty emotional. After being together for almost 8 years and raising the cutest kid on earth, Krista and Dennis wanted a no-fuss simple wedding. All they wanted was one day to celebrate their love and growth as a family and to enjoy the company of all the people they care about the most.
The Thursday Club
Krista planned the most gorgeous DIY wedding at The Thursday Club in San Diego. The club formed in 1921 for young women in the surrounding area. The club, and private garden, are located just a few blocks from the iconic Sunset Cliffs. Krista and Dennis have both lived in San Diego their whole lives and Sunset Cliffs is their spot, making the women’s club a perfect fit for the wedding. Sunset Cliffs are one of San Diego’s most recognized locations. It attracts people from all over the area, including tourists. Once you see the view and experience the surroundings you’ll understand why. It’s an incredibly peaceful place with beauty for miles and miles. Many weddings, elopements, and/or couples sessions happen on the cliffs daily. It’s a favorite spot of mine and I know it well. If you love this location, get in touch and let’s go have some fun!
