I have two home bases, San Diego and The Central Coast, aka San Luis Obispo County. I'm available for travel world wide, which means YES to your wild elopement or destination wedding!

Probably the most asked question, and truly no one is that awkward. It's all in your head, I promise! However, I got your back with a few tips and tricks that will make the experience for you so easy and fun. To be honest tho, awkward moments ALWAYS make for good photos.

how would you describe your style?
Post-editing includes the basics: light adjustments, cropping, and color adjustments as needed. It does not include beauty touchups or extensive photoshop wor
whats included in the post editing?
Yes! I require a 25% retainer at the time of booking. It is a non-refundable retainer and secures your wedding date. The final payment can be split up to a max of 3 payments.
Do you require a retainer? Can I split up my final payment?
Wouldn't step out the door without it! Some venues require it, some do not. If it's something you need, I got you
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
I love to travel. I'm based in San Diego but travel worldwide. All weddings outside SoCal will receive custom quotes depending on the cost of lodging, flights, and rental cars. International travel fees range from $800 to $1500.
How do Travel Fees work?
Absolutely! Every step of the way. As soon as you book your wedding, I'm your right hand lady and there as much as you need me. I will build a photography timeline, help plan for family photos, and plan out locations for your couples photos.
Do you help with planning?
Great question! You will have access to your gallery for life, and/or until I retire.
How long is my gallery available?
I love designing albums! Due to the amount of time that goes into designing an album, I only take on a certain amount of them each year. For more information get in touch with me directly, teresalojaconophotography@gmail.com. Custom album designs start at $500 plus printing.

What can't you do with your gallery!! You can make prints, order custom frames, build an album, design thank you cards, order keepsake boxes with a USB of your gallery and so much more!
what else can i do with my gallery?
Don't you worry. I am happy to plan a on-site visit with you to tour the venue. If that is'nt possible, I always arrive at least 45mins early to every wedding to scout the venue and checkout what the light is doing.
What if you've never shot at our venue?
The images in your gallery are chosen because they are the best of the best, They have been hand selected and edited because the speak to your story. Each image is thoughtfully chosen by myself because they represent frozen memories that best conveys the feeling of your wedding day.
How do you choose what images end up in the gallery?
In the case on an emergency, a session can be re-booked one time. There is no refund of the $350 session fee.
WHATS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your session fee of $350 is your retainer and is non-refundable. The session fee is paid during the booking process.

Documentary Family Photos are a slice of what your daily life is actually like. A raw portrait of what it means to be a member of your family. Lifestyle is more of a staged moment on location, or at home.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFESTYLE & Documentary Family Photography?
These sessions run at least 3 to 4 hours. The session fee covers up to 3 hours. There is never a concrete end time, as I tend to finish up once I feel like we got the coverage we need. It is nice to try and block off an entire day so we have the freedom to plan for anything and you can use the extra time as a day off wth the family.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL SESSION LAST?
When it comes to photos, it should always be quality of quantity. I carefully sift through every session finding the best of the best and hand edit all of those images. You can typically expect 40 images an hour with up to ~120 to 200 images for you to choose from.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE GET FROM OUR SESSION?
Great question! These sessions are meant to be at home to show your daily life. However this time is yours, so going outside, playing in the backyard, a quick grocery run, soccer practice, visiting a museum, a beach day or a hike is most definitely okay.
Where exactly do these session happen? Our home or can we travel somewhere fun?
Together we will work out the best time. Some of this will depend on the content you want captured. Do you want pictures of your critters being sleepyheads and starting there day with pancakes> Then lets start early! Do you want some images after nap time when at full blast, refreshed and ready to go. If so, then let's start laster in the afternoon. Do you want that golden light at sunset spilling through your windows and get pictures of the kids outside, then lets plan around sunset and the evening.
WHAT TIME WILL OUR SESSION BE?
Absolutely! Every step of the way. As soon as you book your session, you'll receive a fun questionnaire diving more into who your family is. Based on those answer I will build a few different options of what we could do for those 4 hours, as well as, a timelines breaking down the day.

I believe in keeping things natural. No alterations are made beyond color tweaks, fine tuning exposure, minor artistic esthetics and cropping. You may request further alterations like beauty edits, at an additional cost.

Is it okay of we have pets?
Travel is included up to 2 hours round trip. Anything outside of the two hours will be charged a .75 cents a mile.
