What the heck is a mini-session? And why do I keep hearing about them?
These were my exact thoughts when I first started photographing families. As it turns out, a mini-session is exactly what it sounds like, a short 15 to 20-minute photo session. Now before you start thinking that 15 to 20 minutes is not enough time, let me tell you it’s plenty! It might seem like a small amount of time, but it’s absolutely possible to capture great photos in a small time frame. In fact, you might find yourself having a hard time choosing your final images. Mini-sessions are always booked during specific time frames, at a location the photographer chooses, and on a date the photographer chooses. This allows us to line up our day with several back-to-back sessions at the same location, making the best use of our time! Mini-sessions in San Diego are in high demand, especially in the spring and around the holidays. Some of the most popular locations are the cactus garden at Balboa Park, Torrey Pines, Presidio Park, Eucalyptus Groves in La Jolla, and Marian Bear Park.
Mini-Session Price Breakdown
Let’s keep it as simple and transparent as possible. Here is a complete breakdown of my mini-session package, and below is a link to schedule your session.
My mini-sessions are $250 and include the following…
- 15-20 minute session
- Pre-determined location in SD County ONLY
- 5 digital images of your choice
- Print release
- Up to 5 family members
When your images are edited and ready for viewing, I will send you an email to your custom online gallery. From the gallery, you can download your final 5 images. If choosing 5 images turned out to be one of the hardest things to do in your life, don’t worry… you have options. You can either purchase a single file, group of photos, or the entire album. For those of you who want to make prints, professional prints and canvases can be ordered directly from your gallery and delivered direct.
